Most large cryptocurrencies performed well during morning trading on Thursday. Cardano (ADA) saw the biggest move, with a 6.34% increase to 53 cents.
Several other currencies also experienced gains. Solana (SOL) climbed 3.85% to $104.49, while Bitcoin (BTC) rose 2.08% to $45,095.80.
Ripple (XRP) rose 0.61% to 52 cents, and Dogecoin (DOGE) followed closely with a 0.60% increase to 8 cents. Polkadot (DOT) saw a modest climb of 0.50% to $6.98.
Polygon (MATIC) and Ethereum (ETH) rounded out the positive performance for Thursday, with gains of 0.50% to 84 cents and 0.37% to $2,438.63, respectively.
On the other hand, Uniswap (UNI) was the only currency that experienced a drop, falling 1.50% to $6.35.
In the world of crypto-related companies, Coinbase Global Inc. (COIN) saw its shares rise by 6.43% to $129.93. MicroStrategy Inc. (MSTR) also saw an increase of 6.93% to $543.20. Riot Blockchain Inc. (RIOT) recorded a substantial rise of 7.28% to $12.14, while Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. (MARA) surged by 10.21% to $19.33.
Shares of Square Inc. (SQ) rose by a marginal 0.04% to $68.34, while Tesla Inc. (TSLA) saw a slight increase of 0.26% to $188.07.
However, PayPal Holdings Inc. (PYPL) experienced a drop of 9.41% to $57.29. Ebang International Holdings Inc. (EBON) shares, on the other hand, rose 4.63% to $9.13. NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA) had a minor climb of 0.02% to $701.15, and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) rose by 0.48% to $171.76.
In the fund space, the Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF (BITQ), which focuses on pure-play crypto companies, climbed 5.37% to $9.22. The Blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF (BLOK) also saw a rise of 2.08% to $28.03.
