European stocks experienced a decline on Friday, with the Stoxx Europe 600 index finishing down 0.27% at 476.38.

The FTSE 100 index weakened by 0.43% to 7,689.61, while the French CAC 40 index dropped 0.40% to 7,420.69. Similarly, the German DAX declined by 0.14% to 16,594.21.
Top Decreases
Among the Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, Remy Cointreau S.A. saw the largest decline on Friday, with shares tumbling by 12.0%. Health care/life sciences firm Idorsia Ltd. and basic materials/resources company Yara International ASA also experienced significant losses of 5.8% and 4.3% respectively.
Top Increases
On the other hand, DocMorris N.V., a retail company and part of the Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, saw the largest increase on Friday as its shares jumped by 12.7%. Business services firm WPP PLC and agriculture company Bakkafrost P/F also showed positive performance with increases of 3.8% and 3.4% respectively.
Currency and Commodity News
The pound was up 0.42% against the dollar, while the euro rose by 0.09%. Additionally, Brent crude saw an increase of 1.55% and reached $78.79.
Bond Yields
The yield on the 10-year gilt rose by 5.99 basis points to 3.791%, while the yield on the German 10-year bund increased by 3.330 basis points to 2.16%.
