Greta Thunberg, the renowned 20-year-old climate activist, stood in solidarity with protesters from the campaign group Fossil Free London outside JPMorgan's headquarters in London. The demonstrators urged the investment bank to put an end to financing projects that contribute to the use of fossil fuels.

Undeterred by recent events, Thunberg, who gained fame in 2018 for her protests outside the Swedish parliament, sat among the activists during the protest. Chanting "The oceans are rising and so are we," the group voiced their concerns on social media.

Just recently, Thunberg was arrested and charged by London's Metropolitan Police for a public order offense, stemming from her participation in a protest outside the Energy Intelligence Forum at the InterContinental Hotel in Mayfair.

However, this setback did not deter the Swedish campaigner. She fearlessly rejoined protestors from Fossil Free London at their demonstration outside Canary Wharf, where JPMorgan's office is located.

Fossil Free London's mission, as stated on its website, is to make the U.K.'s capital city "inhospitable to the fossil fuel industry and the banks that fund it." Using direct action, creative stunts, disruption, and protest, they aim to tarnish the industry's image and challenge its social license.

Let's stand united in creating a sustainable future!
